Accommodation
We encourage you not to delay booking your accommodation, as September/ October is a very popular time of year for visitors to Brisbane.
A limited number of rooms have been reserved on behalf of conference delegates at a number of hotels in Brisbane. Accommodation is subject to availability and will be allocated when a booking is received. To secure the conference accommodation rates, bookings should be made online as part of the registration process. The booking deadline is Monday 26 August 2024.
Please notify your requests for changes or cancellation by email directly to the conference organisers. Each hotel has its own cancellation policy from 30 days prior to arrival ranging from one night cancellation fee to 100% cancellation fee depending on the date of cancellation. Please ensure you understand the policy for the hotel you are booking.
Please indicate your estimated time of arrival during the booking process. If you wish to guarantee your room is ready before the hotel check-in time it is recommended that you book and pay for the room for the evening prior to your arrival.
Please note that payment of accommodation is not taken at time of registration, however a credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your room with the hotel. If you won’t have the credit card at check in time because it is your workplace card or it is not in your name, you will need to complete a credit card authorisation form. From 30 days prior to arrival, hotels will charge this credit card for all your accommodation charges. Please ensure you understand each hotel’s payment policy (outlined below).

Car parking is available at Uptown Parking, located at the top of the Queen Street Mall for $20 per vehicle per night from Friday to Sunday and $38 per vehicle per night from Monday to Thursday. Guests are allowed one entry and exit with this rate. Guests can receive a discounted rate by giving their parking ticket to reception when checking out.
At 30 days prior to arrival, hotels will charge delegates credit cards for a one-night deposit. The remaining charges are due upon check-in. A surcharge applies for all credit card payments.
Cancellation made within 30 to 14 days of arrival will have a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s accommodation cost. Cancellation made within 14 days prior to arrival or no shows, will incur a fee equivalent 10 100% of the accommodation booking.
